Birds Eye Folly Beach Entrepreneurial Women Retreat
Birds Eye invites you to join us at our Folly Beach home away from home. This will be our fourth retreat in this beautiful location on the marsh. Our spring retreat gives women business owners the chance to get away from the day-to-day, gain fresh perspective, and determine what is on the horizon that is worth pursuing. Our retreats have been coined “Birds Eye School House and Studios by the Sea” as participants set-up mobile offices and studios spaces on the expansive porches or in corners of the big house. This retreat is inspired by Birds Eye Adventures core principles of restoration, reflection, creativity and connection. Your enrollment includes access to our Birds Eye materials and resources. Each day includes long stretches of self-guided time to work on, or rediscover, what it is that is calling for your attention most.
Loose outline of our time at Folly:
Restoration– Arrive at your leisure this afternoon and settle into our beautiful space. Unhook from the day-to-day decision-making of your venture and begin connecting with others who will share in the offerings of this retreat with you. We will have one low-key afternoon session to establish initial connections in the group and begin creatively defining courses of action for our coming days. It will be followed by a welcome happy hour and dinner will be provided by Birds Eye.
Reflection– This day will be dedicated to reflecting on your business and your own roles and responsibilities within it. The day will begin with a morning session led by Annie Milroy Price as you create your own comprehensive assessment of your business and your own entrepreneurial journey. The afternoon will then be self-guided and is your opportunity to dig deeper into any of these topics using the support resources and curriculum offered by Birds Eye or work on your own project or idea.
(Each participant is responsible for their own main meals and beverages during this day. Folly Beach has many wonderful restaurants nearby and participants are encouraged to group up and enjoy meals out or cook in the well-equipped spacious kitchen provided).
Creativity– This day is dedicated to creating for the benefit of your business. The morning workshop will set the stage for an afternoon of creativity. This will be an opportunity for participants to host mini-workshops on topics of shared interest. Once again, your afternoon will be all yours. Examples of ways this afternoon could be spent include: participating in photo shoots to create new images for your marketing materials, writing new content for your website or target audience, creating a timeline to reach your future goals, or giving yourself the freedom to just see what happens. (Art supplies and yoga props will be on hand for those who want to explore and play along the way).

Connection– Our retreat will conclude this morning with a light breakfast provided by Birds Eye and a closing session to reflect on our time together and begin connecting what has transpired during our days at Folly into the days ahead.
